Editorial standards

My Cyprus Wedding helps couples plan from another country, where one wrong date, price, or paperwork step can waste time and money. We therefore separate verified facts, practical estimates, editorial judgement, and paid promotion.

How we research

We use primary sources for legal and administrative guidance wherever possible. These include Cyprus government departments, municipalities, airlines, hotels, and the vendor’s own current information. We name the source in the article when a reader needs it to verify or act on a claim.

Prices and timelines change. We state the currency, what the figure includes, and the date or season behind it when that context matters. A typical budget is labelled as an estimate, not a quote.

How we handle vendor information

Every vendor must pass the checks in our listing policy before publication. We review wedding relevance, category, location, contact details, and the public information used in the profile.

Vendors may pay for additional visibility and profile features. Paid placement is labelled. Payment cannot buy inclusion, change an inconvenient fact, or bypass verification.

Authors and updates

Guides name their author and show their publication and update dates. A meaningful update requires the source or advice to be checked again. Changing a date without reviewing the content does not count as an update.

We prioritise reviews when laws, municipal procedures, prices, flight routes, or vendor details change. Older articles remain available only while they are still useful and accurate enough to guide a decision.

Corrections

If you find an error, send the page URL, the statement that is wrong, and a supporting source to hello@mycypruswedding.com. We review factual corrections independently and update the page when the evidence supports the change.

Businesses can request a listing correction or removal through the claim or remove a listing form. Commercial relationships do not affect correction decisions.

What we do not publish

We do not invent reviews, testimonials, prices, availability, or first-hand experience. We do not present generated text as evidence. Drafting tools may assist with structure or editing, but a person remains responsible for the published claim, its source, and the final wording.
