Listing policy
My Cyprus Wedding is a curated wedding directory, not an open database. We list Cyprus wedding businesses when they are relevant to couples planning a wedding, and we review every listing by hand before it appears.
How vendors get listed
We build the directory from publicly available business information, including business names, websites, addresses, contact details, reviews, ratings, and other details already published online.
That first pass is followed by manual research. Every listing is checked by a person against wedding relevance before publishing. A venue, photographer, planner, florist, caterer, videographer, musician, stylist, cake designer, celebrant, transport supplier, or stationery business needs to be relevant to Cyprus weddings, not just generally listed in Cyprus.
Listed vs featured
A basic listing means a business appears in the directory because we believe it is relevant to Cyprus wedding planning. It is not an endorsement, recommendation, guarantee, or statement that the business is the right fit for every couple.
Featured, Premium, and Planner Plus placement is paid promotion. Paid placements are labelled on the page. Payment never decides whether a vendor is included in the directory. It only changes ordering, visibility, and which profile features are available.
Editorial independence
Directory descriptions are written by us. Vendors cannot pay to alter facts, hide relevant limitations, or skip the review process.
If a business owner spots an incorrect fact, they can request a correction through the claim or remove a listing form. We may ask for evidence where a correction affects contact details, ownership, location, category, or commercial claims.
Accuracy and corrections
We aim to keep listings practical and current, but business details change. If you find an incorrect phone number, website, address, category, rating, or description, use the claim or remove a listing form and include the listing URL or vendor name.
We will correct or remove inaccurate information within 14 days once we have enough detail to identify the listing and verify the request.
Data and removal
Businesses can claim, correct, or remove their listing at any time through the claim or remove a listing form.
We honour removal requests within 14 days. When a business asks to be removed, we keep the minimum information needed on a suppression list so the same listing is not republished from public sources during future directory updates.
