Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 July 2026
These terms explain how you may use My Cyprus Wedding and set out the agreement between you and us. Please read them carefully. By using the site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
My Cyprus Wedding is operated by , a company registered in Cyprus. Our full company and contact details are set out in our Imprint, and our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean the operator named above; “you” means anyone who uses the site, whether a couple, a guest, a wedding supplier, or any other visitor.
2. What My Cyprus Wedding is
My Cyprus Wedding is a curated online directory that helps couples planning a wedding in Cyprus find local venues and suppliers. We publish listings, guides, and editorial content, and we let you send enquiries to suppliers.
We are a directory, not a party to your booking. We do not provide wedding venues, photography, catering, planning, or any other wedding service ourselves. Any contract for wedding services is made directly between you and the supplier. We are not an agent, broker, or guarantor for any supplier, and we are not a party to, and take no responsibility for, any agreement, booking, deposit, payment, or dispute between you and a supplier.
3. Using the site
You may use the site only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You must be at least 18 years old to send an enquiry, subscribe, or apply for a listing.
You agree not to:
- use the site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation;
- scrape, harvest, copy, or systematically extract data or listings from the site by automated or manual means, except as expressly permitted;
- introduce malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt the site or its infrastructure;
- impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
- submit false, misleading, or fraudulent enquiries or listing information; or
- use the site or its content to build or train a competing directory or dataset.
We may suspend or withdraw access to the site if you breach these terms.
4. Enquiries and contacting suppliers
When you send an enquiry through the site, we pass the details you provide to the relevant supplier and/or to our team so that your enquiry can be answered. We do not guarantee that a supplier will respond, be available, or offer any particular price or service.
Before booking, please carry out your own checks and satisfy yourself that a supplier is suitable. Any quote, contract, deposit, cancellation policy, or payment is a matter between you and the supplier, and is governed by that supplier’s own terms.
5. Listings and information accuracy
Directory listings are compiled from information provided by suppliers and from publicly available sources, and are curated by our team. Ratings and review counts shown on the site are aggregated from third-party sources (such as public Google data) and are provided for general guidance only.
We take reasonable care with the information we publish, but we do not warrant that any listing is accurate, complete, current, or free from error, and we do not endorse any supplier. If you spot inaccurate information, or you are a supplier who wants a listing corrected or removed, email and we will review it.
6. Terms for suppliers (listings)
This section applies if you apply for or hold a listing.
Eligibility and review. Listings are open to genuine, Cyprus-based wedding suppliers across our published categories. We review every application manually and may accept, decline, edit, reposition, suspend, or remove any listing at our discretion - for example where a supplier has no established Cyprus operation, where content breaches these terms, or where information is inaccurate.
Your content and responsibilities. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date, that you have the legal right to offer the services you advertise, and that your content (including text and images) is your own or properly licensed and does not infringe any third party’s rights. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, adapt for formatting, and promote your listing content on the site and in related marketing while your listing is live. You are responsible for responding to enquiries and for the services you provide.
Plans and pricing. We offer a Free tier and paid tiers (currently Featured, Premium, and Planner Plus). Prices are shown on our List your business page in euros and are exclusive of any applicable VAT. Paid tiers may be billed monthly, annually, or for a 2-year term; annual and 2-year payments apply the discount shown at the time of purchase. We may change our plans and prices, but a change will not affect the price of a paid term you have already bought until it renews.
Payment. Paid listings are purchased through our payment provider, Stripe (see the Privacy Policy). By buying a paid plan you authorise the applicable recurring charge for the plan and billing cycle you choose.
Renewal and cancellation. Monthly paid plans continue until cancelled and cancel at the end of the current billing month. Annual plans run for 12 months and 2-year plans run for 24 months; each renewal happens only with your explicit consent, and we send a reminder at least 30 days before the renewal date. To cancel or downgrade, contact us at . If we remove a paid listing because you have breached these terms, no refund is due for the remainder of the term.
7. Payments, refunds, and right of withdrawal
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card or bank-account details.
Consumers. If you buy as a consumer (that is, for purposes outside your trade, business, or profession), you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) as implemented in Cyprus. Where a service begins during the withdrawal period at your express request, you may owe a proportionate amount for what has been provided up to the point you withdraw.
Businesses. Suppliers purchasing a listing plan do so in the course of a business and are not consumers, so the statutory right of withdrawal above does not apply; the renewal and cancellation terms in Section 6 apply instead.
New paid Featured and Premium listings come with a 30-day money-back guarantee on the first month: if you are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund that first month’s fee. Outside that guarantee and any statutory rights, fees are non-refundable unless agreed by us in writing.
8. Intellectual property
The site, its design, text, graphics, logos, and the “My Cyprus Wedding” name and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for supplier content owned by suppliers, you may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from any part of the site without our written permission. The compilation and arrangement of the directory is our property, and you may not extract or reuse it to create a competing service.
9. Third-party links
The site contains links to third-party websites, including supplier websites and social media. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content, products, services, or privacy practices of those sites. Following a link is at your own risk.
10. Newsletter and communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter, you consent to receive occasional emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by contacting us. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your details.
11. Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that listings or information are accurate or reliable. We act only as a directory that helps couples and suppliers find each other; we do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, availability, or suitability of any supplier or service.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your dealings with any supplier, from your reliance on any listing or content, or from any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in connection with the site or these terms is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to any fees you have paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnity (suppliers)
If you hold a listing, you agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, and costs arising from your listing content, your services, or your breach of these terms or of any applicable law.
14. Availability and changes to the service
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time. We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee that it will always be accessible.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the “Last updated” date shown above. For material changes affecting paid listings, we will give suppliers reasonable notice. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Cypriot courts. If you are a consumer resident in the UK or the EU, you also keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
17. Dispute resolution
The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. This does not affect your statutory rights.
