Larnaca's real edge is the 15-minute transfer. Cyprus's busiest airport sits inside the city, so guests land and reach the Finikoudes seafront or their hotel before a Paphos-bound coach has cleared the car park - direct from Heathrow and Gatwick in about 4.5 hours, with seasonal Jet2 and easyJet routes from regional airports on top. For an 80-guest wedding where half the party is flying in, that saved hour matters more than it sounds.

Wedding venues in Larnaca cluster in three spots: Mackenzie Beach for barefoot receptions, the Finikoudes promenade for hotel rooftops, and the old town around Saint Lazarus Church.
