9 current venues · 6 of them walkable · Larnaca-specific planning guide
Six of the nine venues here are city hotels near the Finikoudes seafront and the old town, which makes Larnaca the one place in Cyprus where hotel, ceremony and dinner can genuinely be a walk apart. The other three are out of town, and they buy you a different kind of day.
In the city: Art & Wine Boutique Hotel on Zinonos Kitieos, Qbic City Hotel on Ermou, Hotel Indigo Larnaca, Rise Urban Art Hotel, La Veranda De Larnaca and the Radisson Blu towards the Mackenzie end. These suit a 40 to 80 guest day where nobody needs a coach and nobody needs a taxi at 1am.
Out of town: Galu seaside at Oroklini about 15 minutes north, Ktima Demetriou at Agglisides inland, and HoneyLi Hill at Melini, a hill village roughly 40 minutes up. Those buy you space, quiet and a horizon, and they require a booked shuttle rather than hope.
Larnaka Municipality publishes ceremonies Monday to Friday and asks couples at the civil registry office at 9:00 on the wedding day with original documents. The standard notice is £110 (€128.15) and puts the ceremony 16 days after application; the special procedure is £240 (€281.90) and can marry you within one to two days, though the appointment needs booking around two weeks ahead. A certified copy is €13.65.
That weekday rule decides your whole weekend. Either marry legally on the Friday and celebrate on the Saturday, or handle the legal step at home and hold a symbolic ceremony here. The municipal ceremony room is the Nikolaidion, a restored 19th-century mansion about 100 m behind the Town Hall, with the Castle Pier, the marina pier and the promenade as outdoor alternatives.
Larnaca airport sits inside the city, so guests land and reach Finikoudes faster than anywhere else on the island. The trade-off is that the Mackenzie end lives under the approach, so listen at the venue before you sign. Since July 2024 the municipality also covers Livadia and Voroklini, which puts Galu seaside inside the boundary. Agglisides and Melini are not, so ask which authority licenses them.
