Choosing wedding music and entertainment in Limassol

Limassol’s 12 published entertainment listings split into two practical groups: music, sound and lighting suppliers, and photo-booth or video-booth operators. Only one listing sits above the €€ band. Decide which part of the day needs a performer and which needs equipment before asking for packages.

Separate music from booth entertainment

The music side includes wedding DJs, sound-and-light teams and one broader supplier advertising DJs, live musicians, sax, strings and bands. The booth side includes mirror booths, 360 video, printed photos, audio guestbooks and online galleries.

A booth does not cover ceremony sound or the dance floor, and a DJ quote does not automatically include a booth. Ask each supplier to itemise performance time, PA, microphones, lighting, effects, booth hours, attendants, prints and guestbook rather than comparing package names.

Make the venue rules part of the shortlist

The Limassol venue list includes city hotels, a function space and beachfront hotels on Amathus Avenue. The category guide says a supplier familiar with the venue may already know its power, sound limits and finish conditions, but those details still need written confirmation from the venue.

Send the floor plan and timetable before accepting a quote. Confirm outdoor and indoor music finish times, equipment access, power points, sound checks, storage and where a booth can stand without blocking dinner service or the dance floor.

Brief three parts of the day separately

Ceremony music, dinner and dancing have different technical needs. List the exact tracks or style for each, who supplies ceremony microphones and whether the DJ or band covers transitions, speeches and performer breaks.

Several current profiles are narrow or lightly documented, and one sound supplier’s website is recorded as offline. Ask for a recent wedding set, a complete equipment list and the name of the person attending before paying a deposit.

Give one supplier responsibility for every microphone handover.
Confirm booth delivery and removal outside guest arrival times.
Put overtime price and the authorised on-the-day contact in the contract.
