Nicosia Municipality Marriage Office

Nicosia Municipality's Marriage Office at the Town Hall on Eleftherias Square is the registered authority for civil marriages in the Nicosia district. Foreign and Cypriot couples submit identity documents and notice of marriage in person; ceremonies are conducted by the Mayor or an authorised Marriage Officer. Less popular as a destination-wedding location than the coastal municipalities (Paphos, Limassol, Ayia Napa) but useful for couples whose ceremony is in inland Cyprus or near the Troodos.
